Jasper County Obituary Beulah Caldwell GOLDEN CITY, Mo. - Beulah Caldwell, 88, Golden City, died at 3:10 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 1997, at a nursing home in Lockwood after a long illness. Mrs. Caldwell was born Aug. 16, 1908, in Dade County. She was a lifetime resident of the Golden City and Greenfield areas. She taught school in Lockwood for 17 years. In 1973, she was named "outstanding teacher of secondary education in America." She was a member of the First Christian Church in Golden City and the Retired Teachers Association. She married Francis Eisert in 1927; he preceded her in death. She married Roscoe Babbett in 1949; he preceded her in death. She married Virgil Caldwell on Aug. 4, 1977. He died July 14, 1989. Survivors include a son, Loyd Eisert, Dallas, Texas; a stepson, David Caldwell, Diamondhead, Miss.; two brothers, Paul Tucker and Thadius Tucker, both of Golden City; a sister, Virginia Tarrant, Golden City; one grandchild; three stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-stepgrandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Christian Church, Golden City. The Rev. Carl Shearer will officiate. Burial will be in Golden City IOOF Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lyle Brent Tucker, Ron Tucker, Terry Tucker, Tommy Tucker, Bernard LeGrand, Cecil Moore and Keith Tucker. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Pugh Funeral Home, Golden City.
